Production is divided into two areas of the machine. At each area, the XY-robot can be equipped with two heads for a total of 4 heads. The heads can be freely selected to comply with the parts for placement.
The AIM is not only compatible with a wide range of parts, but is a high speed chip placer with speeds up to 34,000 cph. The AIM is provided with all the functions demanded of a placement machine, it is an all-in-one powerful machine.

0402 to 74 mm x 74 mm, or up to 180 x 32 mm for connectors. Tape, stick, and tray package types can all be used. Up to 180 types of parts can be loaded (8 mm tape).

The lightweight design placing head and nozzle station can be easily changed without any tools. Changeover time has been greatly reduced with the automatic width adjustment of the PCB conveyor and the automatic backup pin function (optional).
The AIM which boasts such high speeds can handle a variety of parts at a single machine even when the PCB type and production amount is changed. Major changeover operations such as switching out machines is no longer necessary.
