  • FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

In July 2024, Fuji Corporation was selected for the first time as a constituent of FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, a leading global ESG investment index developed by FTSE Russell, a leading global provider of indexes, data and analytics.
This index reflects the performance of Japanese companies that excel in environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives relative to their peers in their respective sectors. It is widely used as an important criterion by investors around the world who focus on corporate ESG initiatives, and has been adopted by the GPIF, one of the world's largest pension funds, as an index for its ESG investments.

  • S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index

Fuji has been consistently listed in the S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index since 2018.
This index is an environmental stock index jointly developed by Japan Exchange Group and S&P Dow Jones Indices, and it has been adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan since 2018. The index covers companies in the TOPIX, and is designed to determine how much weight attributed to each constituent according to the disclosure of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon efficiency (greenhouse gas emissions per unit of revenue) within the same industry.

Sustainability Ratings
  • CDP

In February 2025, through a survey done in 2024 by the international environmental disclosure organization, CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), which investigated approximately 24,800 companies globally, Fuji has received the scores B in “climate change” and B- in “water security”.
These results are a 4 step and 3 step improvement from the previous year’s respective D score. Fuji’s efforts to strengthen our sustainability promotion framework and positively reduce environmental impact throughout the entire value chain have been highly evaluated. Fuji has made contributing to a carbon neutral society a priority issue and is striving to develop environmentally friendly and contributing products, as well as to expand and promote decarbonization activities with our suppliers. Moving forward, Fuji will continue to make environmental impact reduction an important pillar of management, share and collaborate with our stakeholders on the importance of environmental response, accelerate our efforts to realize a decarbonized society, and contribute toward the realization of a sustainable society.

  • EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings

In November 2024, Fuji was awarded a "Committed" badge in a sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis, a French company.
EcoVadis provides a sustainability ratings service that investigates and evaluates global supply chains for their performance toward the SDGs. Their ratings service has been conducted for over 130,000 companies in more than 220 industries, and in at least 180 countries. Participant companies are provided with sustainability ratings on their performance in four themes: Environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The "Committed" badge is awarded to companies that achieve a minimum score of 45, excluding companies that are awarded a medal. In addition to solving issues common to the international community and contributing to a future beyond our imagination, we will make further efforts to enhance corporate value and achieve sustainable growth by make sincere efforts to address CSR and ESG issues to strengthen our management foundation.

  • DX Certification

In November 2024, we obtained certification as a "Digital Transformation Certified Company" under the DX Certification program established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.The DX Certification program is a government initiative that certifies companies that are recognized to be ready to promote digital transformation in response to the Digital Governance Code, which outlines actions business operators are required in light with social changes brought about by digital technologies.

  • Listed in the 2025 Health & Productivity Stock Selection

Under the program held by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Government of Japan together with Nippon Kenko Kaigi, which recognizes corporations that practice excellent health and productivity management, Fuji's efforts in the area of health-conscious management practices have been acknowledged with Fuji being selected as one of the "Certified Health & Productivity Management Organizations" in the large enterprise category since 2020.

  • Acquired the "Kurumin" certification as a childcare supporting company

In 2015, Fuji was certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as a childcare supporting company (Kurumin) in recognition of our various systems and initiatives to help employees balance work and childcare.

 
  • Recognized as an "Aichi Quality" company

In 2004, Fuji was certified as an "Aichi Quality" company by the Aichi Prefectural Government in recognition of our continuous provision of high quality and safe products to the world on the strength of our world-leading "highly accurate, high-speed placement technology and precision processing technology".

  • Acquired certification as an "Aichi Company for the Promotion of Women"

Fuji was certified in 2016 as an Aichi company for the promotion of women by Aichi Prefecture as a company that has expressed its top management's intention to promote the activities of women, expanded recruitment, job scope, training, and appointment to management positions, as well as promoting work-life balance and creating workplaces that allow employees to raise children and care for family members without absence from work.

  • "Family Friendly Company" recognized by Aichi Prefectural Government

Fuji was certified in 2005 as a Family Friendly Company by the Aichi Prefectural Government in recognition of proactive initiatives to support employees in achieving work-life balance.

External participation networks
  • United Nations Global Compact (UNGC),Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ)

In April 2025, we signed the United Nations Global Compact, a sustainability initiative proposed by the United Nations, and joined the Global Compact Network Japan, which is comprised of Japanese and other companies that have signed the United Nations Global Compact.
Established by the United Nations in 2000, United Nations Global Compact is the world's largest sustainability responsibility initiative that brings together the United Nations and the private sector (companies and organizations) to build a healthy global society.
We support the United Nations Global Compact's 10 principles in the four areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and will incorporate these principles into our management and business activities to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society in cooperation with all stakeholders.

 

 

  • TCFD Consortium

In June 2022, we announced our endorsement of the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure) and have been working on disclosing climate-related information ever since.
In February 2025, we joined the TCFD Consortium to strengthen our response to this initiative.
We will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our efforts to address climate change.

Collaboration with External Organizations
  • Tokai Pathways to Global Excellence(T-GEx)

We joined Tokai Pathways to Global Excellence (T-GEx) in May 2025. This program was launched under MEXT’s “Strategic Professional Development Program for Young Researchers.” It supports young researchers in pursuing self-directed career paths, whether as principal investigators leading international and interdisciplinary projects or as skilled professionals engaged in industry-academia collaboration and entrepreneurship. The program aims to cultivate role models and foster a positive cycle of talent development.
