Relationship with the Fuso-kai association
Note: Cooperative association: Established in 1960 as "Fuji-kai", renamed "Fuso-kai" in 2011,
as of February 2025: 158 member companiesPresentation of Letter of Appreciation (March 2025)
SMT pick and place machines, "NXT series" has been on the market for over 20 years.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the bonds and trust we have built through overcoming difficulties together.
In recognition of the flexible and swift response to production fluctuations caused by changes in market conditions
and the turmoil of the pandemic, and for the support in maintaining a stable supply system over the long term,
we presented letters of appreciation to all member companies of Fuso-kai in March 2025.
Strengthening BCP in the supply chain - In recent years, there has been an increasing trend in natural disasters and emergencies that have a significant impact on our business environment,
such as earthquakes, heavy rains, and international unrest.
Against this backdrop, as part of our efforts to enhance the safety and business continuity of the entire supply chain,
we have introduced a "safety confirmation system" for the supply chain starting in March 2025.
When a disaster occurs,
・Our procurement department confirms the safety of our supplier representatives.
・Gain real-time visibility into the status of suppliers' factories and other facilities affected by disasters. - This will enable us to quickly identify risks in the supply chain and promptly coordinate and provide support for recovery.
- We will work with all related companies to build a sustainable and resilient supply chain and improve disaster response capabilities.
Distributing the SDGs newsletter
To promote contribution to the SDGs through our procurement activities, we distribute newsletters detailing the initiatives being implemented around us.
We are working with our suppliers toward social contribution.
Example:
SDGs News -9- Eliminating conflict minerals contributes to the achievement of SDGs 8 and 16.
We will not use 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) minerals mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
and nine neighboring countries that are sources of funding for armed forces.

Toward environmental conservation
We promote green procurement by procuring environmentally friendly products from suppliers who are actively involved in environmental conservation.
In addition, we are providing inner trays free of charge to suppliers who wish to use them
to reduce the amount of packaging materials that are disposed of in an effort to become carbon neutral.
(Total number of inner trays distributed as of March 2025: 27,023)
When starting transactions with new suppliers, we check the status of their efforts on environmental conservation using an environmental questionnaire. -
Promoting green transformation
Starting from raising awareness,
we work with our suppliers to understand the Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 standards
and calculate their emissions in order to reduce CO₂ emissions throughout the entire supply chain.Study session for supply chains

Declaration of partnership building
-
We hereby declare that we will focus on the following initiatives to build new partnerships with our suppliers in the supply chain and business partners seeking value creation by enhancing cooperation, coexistence, and co-prosperity with them.
1.Coexistence and co-prosperity throughout the supply chain and new collaborations beyond business scales or connections.
We work to increase value of the entire supply chain by encouraging our direct suppliers to guide their business partners (from "Tier N" to "Tier N+1"). In addition, we aim to build coexistence and co-prosperity relationships with our suppliers through collaborations beyond existing business relationships, business scales, and other boundaries.
To maintain business continuity in the event of disasters or promote sustainability transformation, we also support our suppliers by providing advice when they formulate their business continuity plan or calculate their carbon dioxide emissions.
(Specific items)
a. Promotion of mutual use of data in compliance with the Law on Book and Record Keeping through Electronic Methods by maintaining and improving web electronic data interchange (web EDI)
b. Commitment to carbon neutrality throughout the supply chain
c. Recommendation for being in the "Health and productivity" program
2.Compliance with promotion standards
We comply with the desirable business practices between parent companies and subcontractors
(the promotion standards under the Act on the Promotion of Subcontracting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises),
and proactively work to correct business practices and commercial practices
that hinder us from building partnerships with our suppliers.
① Pricing methods
We do not make unreasonable cost reduction requests.
We determine transaction prices through consultations with subcontractors at least once a year,
as well as through sufficient discussions to ensure that the transaction prices include the appropriate profit for subcontractors and their working conditions can be improved.
The decision is made after the actions set forth in the Guidelines for Price Negotiations to Appropriate Pass Through Labor Cost are appropriately taken.
In the event that there is an increase in raw material costs or energy costs,
we strive to ensure that the full amount of the cost increase will be appropriately passed on.
Contract terms and conditions, including the determination of the transaction consideration,
are clearly stated and delivered in writing or otherwise.
② Mold management and other costs
Mold transactions are conducted based on the basic concept and principles of mold transactions and the memorandum on handling of molds set forth in the report from the Council for the Promotion of Appropriate Mold Management.
We promote the disposal of unnecessary molds, and do not request subcontractors to store molds free of charge.
③ Bills and other payment conditions
In principle, subcontract proceeds are paid in cash.
④ Intellectual property and know-how
Transactions are conducted in accordance with the basic viewpoints set forth in the guidelines for intellectual property transactions and the model contracts.
We do not seek to conclude unilateral nondisclosure agreements,
disclose subcontractors' know-how or transfer their intellectual property rights free of charge by taking advantage of
our position in the transaction.
⑤ Burdens resulting from workstyle reforms or other changes
To ensure that suppliers are able to respond to workstyle reforms,
we do not impose short delivery times or sudden specification changes on subcontractors without incurring appropriate cost burdens.
In the event of a disaster or other emergency cases,
we do not impose a one-sided burden on subcontractors in terms of transactions,
and we give consideration to maintaining business relationships as much as possible when the business resumes.
3.Other (optional)
a. We have already submitted a declaration of voluntary activities with regard to the White Logistics Movement.
b. We have participated in the fiscal 2023 Supply Chain Decarbonization Promotion Model Project supported by the Ministry of Environment launched by the Ministry of the Environment.
