Strategy
Digital transformation enhancing the value of manufacturing

Fuji obtained certification as a "Digital Transformation Certified Company" under the DX Certification program established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2024.
We aim to create new value in manufacturing through the use of digital technology.
Fuji's vision of DX is not merely digitization, but rather an initiative to create an environment where every employee takes ownership of challenges, transcends departmental and regional boundaries, and makes decisions and takes action from a company-wide perspective.
In addition to developing our IT infrastructure, we are comprehensively advancing efforts to review business processes, strengthen our organizational structure, and develop human resources, with the goal of streamlining the entire supply chain. Furthermore, to contribute to solving social issues based on Fuji’s materiality, we are promoting the use of digital technology from the three perspectives of customers, business, and employees with the goal of evolving into a more agile and flexible company.
- Customers
By expanding the scope of our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, we are strengthening collaboration with distributors and subsidiaries worldwide. We aim to improve customer satisfaction by centrally managing information across the entire product lifecycle and enhancing the speed and quality of our services.
- Business operation
We are introducing digital technologies across the entire supply chain to improve information visibility and communication speed. By enhancing our ability to respond to demand fluctuations, we aim to achieve both productivity and profitability.
- Employees
We are fostering talent capable of utilizing digital technologies. Through skill certification programs and incentive payment systems based on the results of their performance, we support the challenges and growth of each individual employee.
Structure
Connecting DX promotion framework with management
Digital transformation activities are performed under the supervision of senior management.
Led by the CDO, DX headquarters collaborates with business divisions to perform activities organized by theme.
We are also working on using digital technology in factories and digitizing design and development processes (engineering chain), to promote DX across the entire company.
Initiatives
Environment improvement
IT infrastructure
We are proceeding with the migration to cloud systems to strengthen supply chain and operational infrastructure of the entire group. To date, we have implemented 21 types of cloud services and are actively utilizing them in our daily operations.
Furthermore, to facilitate smooth information exchange with customers and suppliers, we are utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems on the cloud and integrating them with our core systems.
Additionally, we have introduced a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system that enables making online quotes even for products with complex specifications. This creates an environment where distributors and group companies can provide quotes quickly and accurately, while also leading to data-driven operational improvements.
Educational programs
We launched the "Workplace digital transformation program", a DX talent development program for employees, in fiscal year 2023 to support the improvement of digital skills. Training courses focus primarily on RPA (tools for automating business processes), which accounts for approximately 90% of the overall efficiency gains. We centrally manage RPA licenses company-wide and allocate them flexibly based on usage patterns to promote broader adoption.
Additionally, we have established learning environments for DX beginners, including data analysis using Excel and Microsoft 365 low-code tools (tools that allow development without specialized knowledge), thus building a system that enables a wide range of employees to engage in digital utilization.
Human resources development results
We continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our DX talent development initiatives using the following metrics.
- 1Annual time saved through digital utilization
- 2Number of DX-certified personnel by skill level
- 3Number of graduates from the digital education course
Cybersecurity measures
We established a Cybersecurity Committee in FY2024 and are working to strengthen security across the entire group under the supervision of the Board of Directors. In addition to system-level measures, we are conducting security training for employees to mitigate risks. In April 2025, we received an A-rank rating from an external security assessment service, ensuring that we have established a secure environment for digital utilization.
