In addition to the core technologies and products it has developed over the years, Fuji is committed to creating new value through open innovation in collaboration with startups, universities, research institutions, and government agencies. In these rapidly changing times, it is not easy to continue generating value sustainably relying solely on our own technology. For this reason, Fuji actively embraces co-creation with external partners and promotes projects moving swiftly from technology validation to product commercialization.

To further accelerate open innovation, Fuji has established the Innovation Promotion Department and the FUJI Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley, California, USA.
By building networks with startups, universities, and government agencies around the world and creating opportunities for collaboration, we have been working to create new value through co-creation with external partners.

Through simple approval processes that accelerate decision-making, flexible procurement rules, and a stage-gate system that enables phased validation, we are able to create value rapidly.
