Workplace accidents statistics
Goal: Lost worktime accidents: 0 (FY2026: 5 cases)
In fiscal year 2026, the number of work-related accidents, including lost worktime and non-lost worktime accidents, amounted to 18 cases. One contributing factor is the increase in accidents involving inexperienced workers. By enhancing safety training, conducting safety and health patrols, and performing risk assessments, we will strive to prevent accidents by identifying hazards and reducing risks.

Safety management initiatives
In the event of a workplace accident, we will respond promptly by following the procedures below.
- 1The department where the incident occurred must immediately notify the managers of each plant and the responsible executives.
- 2The department where the incident occurred must report the cause of the incident and measures to prevent recurrence to the Health and Safety Committee at each plant.
- 3After the safety managers and chief safety and health managers at each facility have verified the effectiveness of the measures, they must be implemented company-wide to prevent similar incidents.
