Relationship with the Fuso-kai association

Certificate of appreciation for Fuso-kai members
  • Cooperative association: Established in 1960 as "Fuji-kai", renamed "Fuso-kai" in 2011, as of February 2025: 158 member companies
Presentation of Letter of Appreciation (March 2025)

SMT pick and place machines, "NXT series" has been on the market for over 20 years.
In recognition of the flexible and swift response to production fluctuations caused by changes in market conditions
and the turmoil of the pandemic, and for the support in maintaining a stable supply system over the long term,
we presented letters of appreciation to all member companies of Fuso-kai in March 2025.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the bonds and trust we have built through overcoming difficulties together.

Strengthening BCP in the supply chain

In recent years, there has been an increasing trend in natural disasters and emergencies that have a significant impact on our business environment,
such as earthquakes, heavy rains, and international unrest.
Against this backdrop, as part of our efforts to enhance the safety and business continuity of the entire supply chain,
we have introduced a "safety confirmation system" for the supply chain starting in March 2025.
We conduct periodic drills for our suppliers using the safety confirmation system.
When a disaster occurs,

  • Our procurement department confirms the safety of our supplier representatives.
  • Gain real-time visibility into the status of suppliers' factories and other facilities affected by disasters.
This will enable us to quickly identify risks in the supply chain and promptly coordinate and provide support for recovery.

We will work with all related companies to build a sustainable and resilient supply chain and improve disaster response capabilities.

Distributing the SDGs newsletter

To promote contribution to the SDGs through our procurement activities, we distribute newsletters detailing the initiatives being implemented around us.
We are working with our suppliers toward social contribution.
Example:

We will not use 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) minerals mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
and nine neighboring countries that are sources of funding for armed forces.

Toward environmental conservation

We promote green procurement by procuring environmentally friendly products from suppliers who are actively involved in environmental conservation.
In addition, we are providing inner trays free of charge to suppliers who wish to use them
to reduce the amount of packaging materials that are disposed of in an effort to become carbon neutral.
(Total number of inner trays distributed as of March 2025: 27,023)
When starting transactions with new suppliers, we check the status of their efforts on environmental conservation using an environmental questionnaire.

Promoting green transformation

Starting from raising awareness,
we work with our suppliers to understand the Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 standards
and calculate their emissions in order to reduce CO2 emissions throughout the entire supply chain.
Study session for supply chains
