AN Series

A milling cell that achieves both accuracy and automation

Featuring a high-rigidity vertical column and quill, this machine comes standard with a swing arm robot. It is a multifunctional horizontal CNC lathe ideal for machining shafts.

AN Series features

Excellent performance thanks to the vertical column

The ANW III series features a vertical column design and positions the discharge outlet directly below the cutting point. When combined with the standard chip conveyor, the machine efficiently removes chips.

Design capable of performing both heavy and light processing simultaneously

Equipped with two opposing spindles mounted on a high-rigidity column designed using C.A.E. structural analysis. Simultaneous heavy and light cutting is possible using both spindles.

Equipped with a tailstock (Option)

Shaft workpieces up to 315 mm in length can be handled. It has a tailstock (quill φ100 mm) capable of heavy-duty cutting.

Improves the factory environment with a double-layer cover

A double-layered cover completely separates the transport area from the machining area and reduces the scattering of chips and coolant as well as noise.

Swing-arm robot

The machine features a swing-arm robot, which operates inside the enclosure, thereby minimizing the outflow of coolant and chips to the outside.

Auxiliary loader can be equipped (option)

The auxiliary loader which is attached on the Z-axis slide removes the machined workpieces from the spindle chuck. Then, the robot places a new workpiece on the spindle chuck and the machined workpiece is received from the auxiliary loader.

Live tools

Live tools which rotate up to 4000 rpm can be equipped.

Cutting edge detection device

The cutting edge detection device can be used for three purposes: specifying coordinate system settings, correcting for cutting edge deviations, and detecting tool breakage. Additionally, an air blow system is installed around the sensor to prevent false detections caused by chip buildup.

Feons is Fuji's original operation panel designed to improve operability and maintainability.
Intuitive operation is possible from integrating lamps and buttons.
Global support is possible by switching between multiple languages.
Comes standard with iHMI. The interactive programming style also contributes to supporting high-mix, low-volume production.

Cutting tool damage detection (option)

This system monitors the load on the spindle and feed motors to detect abnormal loads during machining.
Two system types are available: ILM Light, which enables high-accuracy monitoring tailored to the load, and SLM, which prioritizes ease of use with simple settings.
