Mechanical structure that guarantees high precision machining

The mechanical body structure including the spindle, slide, and turret is optimally designed with CAE analysis technology, and this improves rigidity and reduces thermal deformation. Stable machining accuracy for long periods of time is guaranteed.
Highly rigid 12 station turret

The 12 station turret with curvic coupling improves rigidity for heavy cuts and excellent tool life. (VN40)
Clamps heavy and odd-form workpieces stably

Even for heavy and odd-form workpieces that are difficult to keep in a stable stance when clamping with a horizontal lathe, a vertical lathe can clamp the workpiece securely because the workpiece adheres tightly to locators from its own weight.
Headstock

Intrusion of cutting fluid and chips is completely prevented by an air barrier. In addition, maintenance can be easily performed because a quill-type headstock is used.
Opening at the upper section of the machine

It features a large opening that makes it easy to load and unload even large workpieces.
Workpiece lifter & unloading unit

These assist with loading and unloading of heavy workpieces, thereby reducing the workload for users. (Option)
