Seminar overview
In recent years, automation through the introduction of robots has been progressing in various fields worldwide.
The electronic panel assembly industry is no exception, with a rapidly increasing number of customers who are considering automating the insertion processes after the SMT processes which are still performed manually.
However, there are many insertion parts with special conditions, such as loose-supplied parts, which are packaged in this way as it is assumed that they will be assembled by hand, and large connectors, for which it is not possible to supply many at at the same time and thus need to be resupplied frequently.
As a result, many customers abandon automation, or give up on increasing the rate of automation or making their existing automation more efficient.
This situation illustrates the importance of parts supply units, both in configuration and capacity, in automating the insertion process.
In this seminar, we will introduce solutions for automation of parts insertion on the Multipurpose Automated Fabrication Machine – sFAB-D, focusing on automatic supply of loose-supplied parts and large connectors, which are often an obstacle to improving the automation rate and reducing workloads at the production line.
