Basic policy
Each and every employee recognizes that 'safety and health forms the foundation of our operations', aligning with proactive promotion of safety and health activities with full participation.
Occupational health and safety promotion framework
A company-wide general safety and health manager is assigned to the headquarters, and information is shared with each site to prevent similar accidents and create a safe and comfortable workplace.

- Recognition of hazard sources and risk reduction through risk assessments and health and safety patrols
- Management of overtime hours in compliance with laws and regulations and prevention of health problems
- Prevention of traffic accidents during commuting and work hours
Workplace accidents statistics
In fiscal 2025, the number of occupational accidents, including lost worktime and non-lost worktime accidents, amounted to 10 cases, unchanged from the previous year. The number of lost worktime accidents decreased by 1 case from fiscal 2024, while the number of non-lost worktime accidents increased by 1 case.
The lost worktime accident was from falling from a work stand.
As preventive activities, we are committed to identifying hazard sources that could lead to serious incidents and taking risk reduction measures through monthly health and safety patrols and risk assessments.

Frequency rate: Number of deaths and injuries resulting in lost worktime due to industrial accidents / Cumulative hours worked x 1,000,000 (expressing the frequency of occurrence of industrial accidents in terms of numbers of fatal & non fatal injuries in industrial accidents per 1 million work-hours in the aggregate.)
Severity rate: Aggregated number of work-days lost / Cumulative hours worked x 1,000 (expressing the severity of accidents in terms of the number of workdays lost per 1,000 work-hours in the aggregate.)
Labor-management relations
Basic policy
Fuji employs a union membership system, in which regular employees other than managers are required to join the labor union after a certain period of employment, and the Company recognizes the legitimate union activities of its members.
The labor union membership ratio excludes executives, managers, contract employees, semi-regular employees, part-time employees, mid-career hires within their probationary period, and new graduates within two months of joining the company.

Labor-management conference
The Labor-Management Council has been established as an advisory body to facilitate mutual communication between workers and management, to facilitate smooth business operations, and to promote clarity in the workplace. Labor-Management Council meetings are held annually to discuss management policies, general overview of operations, working conditions, efficiency promotion, business improvement, health and safety, and welfare programs. In addition to the Labor-Management Council, the Labor-Management Secretariat also holds discussions as necessary, in which workers and management cooperate to achieve a better workplace environment.
